Kellie Martin is an American actress in television, film as well as stage actor. Her most well-known role is Christy Huddleston (Christy) as part of the period show Christy", Rebecca Thatcher (Life Goes On) in Life Goes On; and Lucy Knight ("ER") in the medical drama ER". Other notable roles include the title role of the Hailey Dean Mystery series. Martin, the daughter of a department-store purchaser and kindergarten teacher began her career in acting when she was seven when her aunt, who was the nanny of Michael Landon's children assisted Martin get a part in the 1982 series "Father Murphy". Following her graduation from Yale University, she took acting more seriously, and eventually landed significant roles both on the small screen and the big screen.
